Who was/were your roommate(s)?
Melissa - I'm sorry, MERCA Stage. Pronounced "Mersa" and designed to catapult her to stardom. I once had to listen to her and Vile Jared try to outskank each other while taking the purity test. She was wikkan because she read half of a book about Wikka, and she had half of a turtle tattoo because she ran screaming from the tattoo parlor. That's a good metaphor for how she was: half-assed.
Coincidentally, she stayed for half a year and my new roommate was - God, I don't remember her name, Marianne? but she would speak Polish in her sleep and it made her sound possessed. She stayed in our room a total of 12 nights per semester, making Drew the most expensive hotel she'll ever stay in. I was happy with this arrangement, except that she would always turn up after three weeks while I was getting busy and give me a frikkin heart attack.
Do you still talk to them?
I'm sure I will once they slap me with a libel suit.
Ever get in trouble in the dorms?
Not a once. No one caught me rocking the vending machine when it stoled my dollar.
Something you remember when you lived on campus:
How much I wished I could have encountered the mad whacker. The man had his pants around his ankles, HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO KICK HIM IN THE BALLS? C'mon ladies.
Your campus phone number
First party attended?
Wow, I think Brian and I were at the same first party. Aww. E-House during Orientation week, I believe.
First Bar you got wasted at?
I only get wasted when it's free.
Favorite Pizza Place in the area?
Romanelli's. Was there another pizza place?
Did you go to the library?
Hardly ever. I think I went more after I graduated and my laptop got stolen.
What was your Favorite Floor you'd always be on?
Tolley 3rd freshman year, then a mix of theme houses - Umoja, Ehouse, WoCo
Club, Athletics, Frat or Sororities, you joined?
I think I attended one meeting of Insanity's Horse and then I thought about how lame the name was and backed slowly towards the door.
Where did you buy your books?
Once I went to Main St. Grill and got hit on by some paunchy car salesmen trolling for college girls. That about sums up the Madison bar scene.
Ever attend any Drew sporting events?
Not a one.
Ever attend a concert or comedic performance?
Tons of things at TOE, nothing I had to pay for.
Did you move off campus, when and where?
Graduation day. To what turned out to be a halfway house in Morristown. I had a garret apartment and my neighbors gave me unlimited free weed in exchange for snacks, which nearly gave me consumption. It was very La Boheme.
Have you ever spent the night on campus not in your room?
The basement of Umoja and Toly's room when I was too congested to smell the smoke.
Favorite night to go out on, and where did you go?
Except for theme house parties, I pretty much hung out in small groups in people's rooms, at Sweet Dreams (RIP), or in the city.
Happy hour, where did you go?
I was more observant of 4:20pm from time to time.
Where did you get coffee?
I don't think I had a single cup of coffee in four years.
Favorite Year of Halloween?
Years 1-3 I spent Halloween in Greenwich Village. Year 4 I got stranded in Philly when my car broke down and spent Halloween pissed off. So that's the one that really stands out for me.
Go see a play or been in one?
I saw a few freshman year and just about all of them senior year. And a couple after graduation. Stupid Kids was my all-time favorite.
Did you ever have a job on-campus?
Used to lifeguard at 6:30am every Friday, which completely ruined Thursdays for me. God, who was I before my social life became my guiding impulse? Lame, lame, lame!
What do you hate about Drew?
The relocation of the theme houses.
What did you love most about it?
The people. And the fact that I used the gym every day after I graduated for three years with no one the wiser.
Ever leave Drew to go on a road trip?
NYC & Philly pretty frequently. Montclair a couple times.
Where would you believe is the best location to live on campus?
My room in Umoja might have been the biggest room on campus, which was awesome, and the house was great. Aesthetically, though, Hoyt 3rd with a great tree out the window.
Graduated or still attending?
Will you go back?
Reunion. I still think we should seriously plan a rematch of assassins.
How many parking tickets have you gotten?
A couple, but I think I talked my way out of them.
Finally, ever gotten arrested?
Nope, but it's not like I didn't tempt fate.
